Love & Sympathy

Here we are in the middle of a new week! Time is rushing by these days :) That is both a good and bad thing. Good in the sense that we are getting closer to going HOME and bad in the sense that I seem to be getting behind on my card challenges... I think I may have to scale back on the ones I take part in :( How will I decide? They are all so fun!!!

No one really likes to have to send out sympathy cards but speaking from experience they are so appreciated. When I design a sympathy card I feel it is best to keep it simple and clean which is why I chose to make this one using a Freshly Made sketch! And the colours I chose are from the Dynamic Duos challenge.

My Challenges:

My Card:

I have used a number of new products on this card! The argyle embossing folder, the Love & Sympathy stamp set and the NEW regal rose ink pad which I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in love with mind you. I really went back and forth about whether to replace all my large in pads and after some careful consideration I took the leap and boy am I happy I did, the difference in the stamped image is unreal!

Thanks for stoppin' by!

  3. So pretty Hayley. Sympathy cards are always so difficult and I try to keep mine simple too. It seems like the sketch and these lovely colors are the perfect match for it. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  7. I agree with eveyone else about keeping it CAS for sympathy cards. Less is more in some cases. I really like how the soft image pops...I have yet to ink this set up. Thanks for the inspiration. So glad you joined us this week at Dynamic Duos! :)
