Enchanted Spirelli

It is a rainy day here in Ottawa so what better thing to do than to create some sunshine in my craft room J I am all prepared for my two classes this weekend so that frees up a little time for me to take part in my usual weekly card challenges. First up – Freshly Made Sketches!

March is the last month of Sale a Bration and I have been dying to crack into some of the new products I got to take advantage of during this fabulous sale! I chose to do with the Everyday Enchantment suite for this card. I love that it uses so many of the 2011-2013 In Colours. I have been searching around for a way to use the pretty in colour bakers twine and came across this exciting tutorial over at Split Coast Stampers for a technique called Spirelli.

Thanks for stoppin’ by!

  1. Cute card. I will have to check out the tutorial and put some twine to use! Thanks for playing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  2. The way that you took the time to wrap baker's twine to create the spirelli -- that's a lot of patience! :)

  3. Fabulous card... very artistic! Love that DSP, too! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  4. Wow .... love this techinique, and so perfectly used here ... great job!
