At a demonstrator meeting I attended before we left for vacation we made this project and I feel in love! What a cute little gift for someone to receive. Hmmm... Christmas is coming after all. The tutorial was offered free online from Jill Hilliard: http://jill031070.blogspot.ca/2011/10/card-box-free-tutorial.html - So great to have such talented ladies to learn from :)
For the front of the card box I used the sketch from Freshly Made Challenge this week. It was just perfect for this project! I used the colour theme from International Bizarre designer paper from Stampin' UP! So many pretty colours to choose from :)
My Challenge:
My Project:
As you can see there is lots of room in this cute little box. It will
fit 4-8 cards depending on how much dimension you chose to use. I went with the
same basic design for each card (switching up the colour theme on each) and
used a different sentiment to give a variety to the lucky person who receives
it.
Great card Hayley! Love that paper! The colours are great! Hope you had a great time at your stamp club and hope your little guy is feeling better! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Hayley! This is so cool! The sketch works perfectly on the front of the card box. I am sure your club members LOVED it!
