Who's In The Spotlight?

My goodness it has been a busy week for me J I am back with my second entry as a Guest Designer at The Friday Mashup. This has been such a fun experience so far. It has given me the opportunity to take a look at a number of new blogs which I have never visited before and I have to say there are some truly talented crafters out there. So fun to see all the unique takes on each week’s challenges.

I made this card for my son’s best friend who has been ill with an ear infection and fever that just would not go away. He is feeling better now but not 100% yet. Thought this little guy might help to cheer him up!

My Challenge:

1. Make a project using the "Spotlighting Technique". 

2. Or Make a project featuring "Penguins". 

3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a project featuring "Penguins using the Spotlighting Technique".

I chose to go with the reverse spotlighting technique on this card. At first I was going to use my circle punch to cut out a spot for my colour technique but then I thought that going with the square would keep with the general design of the card.
